Ramadhan Mubarak! How are you all?
You guys won’t believe how badly I’ve been wanting to write here; however, some things have just hindered me, whether it be certain incidents or just clouding emotions.
I don’t know how many months it’s been, but it’s a big hope of mine to be regular on my page again. I’ve always assumed May to be my “power month.” Let’s see if that proves to be true again ;). Although it’s clearly almost over, haha.
A quick rundown of what my past few months have encompassed: staying in London for a few months, losing a cherished one and dealing with my emotions surrounding that, my husband graduating with his PhD, a three week road trip throughout Spain (one of the best yet toughest trips of my life), making a beautiful and more profound bond with my Lord and my religious leader, meeting the best people in London/Spain who have now became my dearest sisters (miss them so much!), learning to deal with many different types of people, playing lots of luddo, having some health issues, and a TON of unpacking and packing.
Yep…lots has happened in just a matter of a few months. Now I’m finally back in the States with family for Ramadhan. [The 9th month in the Islamic calendar when Muslims fast from dawn to dusk. If any you guys would like to learn more about Ramadhan, read my blog post from last year here.]
As the month of Ramadhan begins, treat each other kindly, be humble, talk respectfully, and pray sincerely. May this Ramadhan bring you infinite peace and help further strengthen your bond with Allah.
Alright guys, cheers for reading through yet another one of my random update rambles.
Stay tuned for the plethora of ideas I have running through my head that I want to write about 😉
